Jhatpatt harabhara palak paratha

I was sick of the regular rotis and paratha. One fine morning, I tried to make something healthy , fresh and quick for breakfast. Tried out the parathas with palak. It turned out to be too good and my family just loved it.

Hara bhara Palak paratha

Ingredients:
Spinach (Palak) - 1 bundle
Green Chillies - 6-8
Salt - to taste
Wheat Flower(aata) - 250 gm
Garlic - 6 pods (Optional)
Garam Masala Powder - 1/ 2 teaspoon (Optional)
Oil for making paratha

Procedure:

Remove the stems of palak.
Wash thoroughly and Blanch* the palak leaves. Cut it into small pieces.
Grind coarse green chillies, garlic, a teaspoon of salt in the Mixer.
Knead the aata with this mixture. Add water if required.

Make 12 balls from the kneaded dough, roll it as Roti and fry as paratha.

*Blanch -Add a tablespoon of salt in boiling water and drop the palak leaves in it. Pick up tete palak leaves and drip in cold water.

You can have these parathas hot with pickles and fresh curd. As it is the parathas are mouthwatering and no need of subji with this.
